RSF militia kills and injures 10 citizens run-over in Nyala

Four citizens were killed and six others were injured in a run-over by members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Nyala.

Eyewitnesses from Al-Geneina market parking lot told (Darfur 24) that an argument broke out between an RSF armed force in a four-wheel drive vehicle and a citizen who was driving a tuk-tuk (a local term for an Indian three-wheel motorcycle) due to traffic congestion. They indicated that the RSF force asked the citizen to go with them to the force’s check point, but he refused, before one of the force members opened fire on him, leading to his immediate death.

They added, “While the armed force was fleeing the market, it ran over a number of citizens, killing 3 of them instantly and injuring 6 others who were taken to the teaching hospital, some of whom are in critical condition.”
An eyewitness said that the force that ran over the citizens left the car and fled on foot towards Al-Salam neighborhood from the north.
