Army Special Task Forces Carry Out Infiltrations and Targeted Killings in RSF Strongholds

A field commander from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has acknowledged a major breach carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces’ special operations units deep inside their positions on several fronts.

In a circulating video, the field commander questioned the prevailing account that the killing of more than 10 RSF members in Al-Jamam area east of Ed Daein was caused by an SAF drone strike, saying instead that the operation bore the hallmarks of a direct ground infiltration.

He accused RSF intelligence of “serious negligence” and failing to perform its core duties of securing and protecting their positions, leaving them vulnerable to targeted operations.

The militia commander openly admitted that SAF special operations units and intelligence personnel had penetrated major RSF strongholds and gathering points in several key towns and areas, including Ed Daein, Al-Fula, Al-Mujlad, and Babanusa.

The field commander expressed deep regret and disappointment over what he described as the state of “severe weakness and decline” that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been experiencing in recent times.
