Omdurman militia commander and leaderships in Hemeidti’s office flee Khartoum

The Sudanese army’s heavy strikes on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on various fronts in Khartoum caused senior field commanders of the militia to flee to Darfur.
A military source confirmed that the militia commander in Omdurman, Maj. Gen. Hassan Mahjoub, fled to South Darfur three days ago. The army and its supporting groups intensified their attacks against the militia in Khartoum, in addition to the White Nile and North Kordofan states.
A source explained to (Sudan Tribune) that a number of commanders left for Nyala accompanied by the area commander, including Maj. Gen. Abdul-Rahman Al-Gouti, Director of Wounded Affairs, in addition to leaderships from the office of the militia commander, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
Since the army’s Mobile Forces joined the Signal Corps south of Khartoum Bahri, the militia began to collapse. The militia commander in Bahri, Idris Hassan, was forced to change his residence in Kafouri before moving to Al-Sitteen Street in Khartoum. The army and the Sudan Shield Forces are waging fierce battles in eastern Nile, supported by military reinforcements coming from Al-Gezira State.
In a related context, the commander of (Al-Baraa bin Malik) Brigade, Al-Misbah Abu Zaid, revealed attempts by the RSF militia to close Al-Manshiya Bridge. Al-Misbah said, in a post on (Facebook) on Tuesday, that the militia is trying to prevent the withdrawal of its forces besieged in eastern Nile, Al-Faihaa, Al-Nasr, Al-Huda, Al-Juraif East and Om Dom neighborhoods. He confirmed that the drones target all the militia bases in eastern Nile and that the Dagalo’s militia is suffering heavy losses.
