Sovereignty Council Orders Urgent Measures to Stabilize Sudanese Pound and Accelerate Force Integration

The Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) held a meeting at the Republican Palace, chaired by its President, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, during which it reviewed a number of national issues and priority files related to the country’s economic, security and service conditions.

The meeting reviewed the status of basic services and the state’s efforts to address economic challenges, with a particular focus on measures aimed at stabilizing foreign exchange rates and mitigating their impact on citizens’ living conditions.

The Council underscored the importance of speeding up the implementation of security arrangements and completing integration processes in accordance with the established plans.

The meeting also discussed the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue process, with the Council renewing its support for all national initiatives aimed at achieving consensus among Sudanese stakeholders and reaching a shared national vision that serves the country’s interests.

The Council was also briefed on the progress of military operations and the security situation across various fronts, commending the efforts of the regular forces in protecting the nation and its citizens.

The Sovereignty Council called on citizens not to be swayed by rumours and misleading media campaigns aimed at spreading fear and confusion among the public, stressing the importance of relying on official sources for information and following developments.
