Sudanese Army Encircles Militia in Gaysan

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have imposed a tight and stringent military siege on elements of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and allied forces from the Joseph Tuka movement in the strategic area of Gaysan in the Blue Nile region.

Sources confirmed that the Armed Forces’ ground military tactics succeeded in isolating the militia and movement’s joint forces inside the area and completely cutting off their logistical and military supply lines.

In the same context, the Gaysan locality administration confirmed that the army had tightened the siege around the RSF militia and forces allied with Joseph Tuka and rebel leader Hemedti, urging citizens not to be drawn into rumors circulated by “hostile media outlets.”

The Gaysan Locality Media Platform said in a statement on Wednesday that the army was working to secure Al-Dim sector, located near the Nile, adding that “good news is on the way.”
