Interior Minister directs police stations in Bahri to resume duty urgently

Minister of Interior, Khalil Pasha Sayreen, has issued a directive to open all police stations in the liberated areas in Bahri Locality, as part of the government’s efforts to restore normalcy and enhance security in the areas that have been retaken.
The Minister stressed that the Sudanese police played a pivotal role from the first moments in restoring stability in the liberated areas, noting that the Civil Defense Forces extinguished the fires that broke out in Al-Gaili refinery, in addition to their contribution to removing mines and unexploded ordnance to ensure the safety of the population.
The Minister of Interior stressed the importance of the role of the police in securing the liberated areas and restoring services, stressing the continuation of efforts to ensure the stability of the security situation and create the appropriate environment for the return of citizens to their homes.
