Bulky police reinforcements to secure the army’s back in West Omdurman

Khartoum State Police deployed security and reinforcement forces from the Operations Police Forces to secure the western Omdurman hub, in implementation of the policy of the Police Forces Headquarters regarding securing the liberated areas by the police forces.

The Director of Operations, Maj. Gen. (Police) Mohamed Mabu’a Al-Awad, told the police press office that the purpose of the openness is to secure the back of the armed forces after their noticeable progress in this axis and many other hubs, in addition to securing vital and strategic sites, spreading security and tranquility, achieving the security process, and contributing to the voluntary return of citizens.
