Erdogan: Our Sudanese Brothers Requested Turkey’s Help to End the War

 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday reaffirmed his country’s ongoing efforts to end the conflict in Sudan. Speaking at a press conference following his participation in the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, Erdogan said, “Wherever there is a problem, we will be there to resolve it, and our Sudanese brothers have also requested Turkey’s involvement in addressing these issues.

 

” He emphasized that Turkey has sought and will continue to seek peace everywhere, including in Sudan, Somalia, and the Gulf region. Erdogan also underlined the importance of G20 leadership in guiding the international community to tackle current and future global challenges.
