Head of Sudan Liberation Movement: RSF acting as a cat’s paw for regional parties to dismantle Sudan

The Head of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Mustafa Tambour, accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia of acting as a cat’s paw on behalf of regional parties with the aim of dismantling Sudan.
In an interview with Al Jazeera Mubasher’s Evening Program, Tambour said the rebel RSF militia is the weakest link in this scheme and was only used as a cat’s paw to implement a plan that ultimately aims to hijack Sudan.
Tambour pointed to a number of regional parties he accused of working to carry out a plan to destroy Sudan in its current form, saying: “There are countries in our African neighborhood that have clearly intervened in Sudan’s affairs and provided direct logistical support to this militia, such as Chad, which has openly declared its hostility toward the Sudanese state and people.”
He continued accusing Chad of “completely opening its shared border with Sudan to allow this militia to move freely,” adding: “Ethiopia has also hosted both political wings of the RSF — Taqaddum and Sumoud — and the memorandums signed between the Forces of Freedom and Change – Central Council and Hamdok with the militia commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.”
