Recording Scandal: Dagalo Issued Direct Orders to Kill Civilians, Says Minnawi

Darfur Region Governor Minni Arko Minnawi said he possesses audio recordings that show Rapid Support Forces (RSF) deputy commander Abdel Rahim Dagalo issuing direct orders to his fighters to kill residents of El-Fashir.

In a related context, Minnawi said in a post on his Facebook page that the visiting French parliamentary delegation listened in Khartoum to firsthand testimonies from survivors and eyewitnesses regarding crimes and violations committed by the RSF.

He stated that the testimonies covered widespread abuses in El-Geneina, El-Fashir, Wad Madani, and Khartoum, in addition to other areas, stressing that the violations amount to crimes against humanity and require urgent international action.
