Army Prepares for Decisive Phase as General Staff Outlines Next Stage

Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration Lieutenant General Abdel Khair Abdullah Nassir affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) are in their strongest condition and are preparing to eliminate the remaining pockets of rebellion.

He pointed to the Armed Forces’ recent victories on Kordofan and Blue Nile fronts.

Speaking during the inauguration of new facilities at the Third Infantry Division in Shendi, in the presence of River Nile State Wali Mohamed Al-Badawi Abu Goron, the senior military official said relations between the Armed Forces and supporting forces remain strong and solid.

He added that rumours circulating across media platforms are aimed at sowing discord and destabilising citizens, calling on the public not to pay attention to such rumours, which he said are contradicted by realities on the ground.
