Death of RSF “Day of Judgment” Mobile Force Commander and Hemeidti’s Cousin in El-Fashir

Field sources reported that the Joint Forces carried out a precision operation at dawn on Tuesday in the northern axis of El-Fashir, resulting in the killing of Brigadier (Khala) Salim Salih Isa (Hemeidti’s cousin), one of the senior commanders of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), along with commander of a mobile force, known as “Day of Judgment.”

The operation was considered a significant blow to the RSF’s field command structure, which relies on these commanders to wage battles in the inflamed areas.

The operation came amid the ongoing military escalation in El-Fashir and its surrounding axes, where intense clashes continue between the Sudanese Armed Forces, supported by the Joint Forces, and the RSF militia seeking to consolidate control over the strategic city.

Observers believe that the deaths of Brig. (Khala) Salim Salih and the Commander of the Mobile Force “Day of Judgment” will have a major impact on the fighting in North Darfur, as they were key commanders directing precision operations within residential neighborhoods and overseeing advanced attacks, potentially weakening the militia’s field maneuverability.

Meanwhile, divisions within the RSF in El-Fashir appear to be widening, with reports that militia intelligence officer Abbas Kutur and his son were arrested on charges of treason and collusion with the army.
