US-Turkish Talks on Sudan War

U.S. Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, has announced a meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister to discuss the situation in Sudan.

Boulos tweeted: “Today in Istanbul I met with Turkish Foreign Minister @HakanFidan and @USAmbTurkiye
Barrack to discuss our engagement on Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and other matters in Africa.”

He added, “We underscored that creating the conditions for peace is key to unlocking opportunities for long-term growth and prosperity across the continent. The U.S. and Türkiye will build on our joint efforts to deepen cooperation and strengthen relations.”
