U.S. escalates its rhetoric against RSF militia, describes it as (criminal)
The United States (U.S.) government has escalated its rhetoric against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
USAID Director Samantha Power said that the US government relied on extensive documentary evidence to conclude that the RSF militia forces committed genocide in Sudan.
Power explained that the evidence included video clips documented by militia members, themselbves. “The fact that these criminals felt emboldened not only to commit these crimes, but also to document them and even brag about them on video, is a horrific testament to the consequences of decades of impunity for atrocities and genocide.” She added.
