Turkey prepares to participate in the reconstruction of Sudan

The Ministry of Investment announced its readiness to receive investors’ requests to invest in Sudan in all fields, while ambitious plans have been put in place for the transitional phase and the reconstruction of what was devastated by the war.
Acting Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sabil, affirmed that the ministry is proceeding with a strategy and policies based on taking into account the historical and cultural characteristics of the countries with which we seek to establish long-term investment partnerships, including Turkey.
During her meeting with the visiting delegation of the Turkish company Meri Laiz to discuss investment areas in Sudan, especially in the field of energy, mining, food security projects and reconstruction projects, she praised the great role played by the State of Turkey in Sudan. She said that Sudan is still virgin and a land of endless opportunities, calling for the necessity to benefit from the Sudan tremendous resources. She said that the Ministry of Investment gives Turkish investments the attention they deserve. Meanwhile, the Turkish delegation praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Investment to attract investors, indicating that the coming periods will witness the company’s work in Sudan.
