To visit China within days, Sudan’s Foreign Minister arrives in Russia

Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Youssef Ahmed Al-Sharif began a three-day official visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, on Monday, at an invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The minister will also visit China in the middle of this month.
Sudan’s Ambassador to Russia, Mohamed Al-Ghazali Siraj, said that the foreign minister will hold talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, during the visit, on ways to support and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields. He added that the talks will address regional and international issues of common interest.
During the visit, the foreign minister will meet with the Russian Minister of Natural Resources, Alexander Kozlov, head of the Russian side in the joint ministerial committee between the two countries, in addition to meetings with a number of senior officials in the Russian Duma and a number of state officials.
The minister will brief Russian officials and media on the latest developments in Sudan in light of the successive victories of the armed forces over the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia, and will review bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them in various fields.
