Sudan’s Police Raids Areas Concerned with Foreigners in Khartoum

 

The East Nile Locality’s Police conducted a major security campaign to control foreign presence in the locality, arresting approximately 87 foreigners from various countries.

 

 

The police press office stated that the campaign was launched under the direction of the Directors of Khartoum Police and the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration.

 

 

A large-scale campaign was carried out targeting areas with foreign presence, including the neighborhoods of Al-Jereif East Al-Huda, Al-Guba, Al-Nasr, Hallat-Koko, and Al-Maigoma.

 

 

 

According to the police press office’s follow-up, the campaign resulted in the arrest of 87 foreigners of various nationalities. Legal measures were taken against them and they were handed over to the relevant authorities, pending deportation procedures.
