Sudanese Police: Al-Dagalo Active in Drug Manufacturing, Production, and Trafficking

Forces from the General Directorate for Drug Control have arrived at their headquarters in Khartoum State.

The Director of the Directorate, Maj. Gen. Nasr al-Din Salih Mashawi, confirmed to the press office the readiness of his forces to carry out their duties with professionalism and high efficiency.

He pointed out that drugs were present in this war, as the Al-Dagalo militias exploited them as incentives and stimulants for their rebel forces. They engaged in drug manufacturing, production, and trafficking, and used their proceeds to fuel the conflict.

Maj. Gen. Mashawi pledged to launch vigorous and decisive anti-drug operations and to contribute to the security process and the normalization of civilian life.
