Sudanese Ministry of Justice: ICJ’s decision does not mean the UAE is innocent… We will sue it in other forums
The Ministry of Justice has underscored that the decision issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), stating that it lacks jurisdiction to adjudicate the lawsuit filed by Sudan against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), does not mean the UAE is innocent of the violations attributed to it. The decision was based on a formal dismissal of the case due to lack of jurisdiction, without addressing the allegations against the UAE and the coherent evidence presented in this regard.
The Ministry of Justice confirmed, in a statement, that this decision does not prevent Sudan from resorting to litigation in other international forums and demanding compensation for these violations.
