Sudanese Army Pounds RSF Gold Mines in Radom, Destroys Al-Junaid ‎Company Headquarters

The Sudanese Army carried out a concentrated rocket strike targeting ‎gold mines controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in ‎Radom locality, South Darfur State. Four rockets struck the ‎headquarters of Al-Junaid Company, which is owned by the militia, at ‎the Agbash gold mine, destroying the facility and setting it ablaze. At ‎least one person was killed, after which telecommunications and ‎internet services were completely shut down in the area.‎

Local sources told Darfur24 that the airstrike, carried out on Sunday, ‎directly targeted the militia’s economic infrastructure at the Aghbash ‎mine, one of the largest gold-mining centers in South Darfur. RSF-‎linked investments operate at the site alongside the activities of ‎thousands of traditional miners.‎
