Sudanese Army Deploys Major Reinforcements to Blue Nile Region

KHARTOUM (Sudanese Echoes) – The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) ‎have deployed special forces, units of the Joint Force and Sudan Shield ‎Forces, as well as troops from the Second Elite Brigade for ‎Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism, to the southern Blue Nile ‎front, as part of efforts to strengthen security and stability and counter ‎the movements of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and its allies ‎in the area.‎

According to military sources, the Al-Naba Al-Yaqeen mobile force and ‎the Fourth Infantry Division inflicted heavy losses on mercenaries of ‎the Al-Dagalo militia during recent clashes.‎

A military source told Shahid Ayan that the situation remains under ‎the control of the Sudanese Armed Forces, reassuring citizens that the ‎coming days will bring good news and positive developments on the ‎battlefield, Allah willing. The source concluded by saying: “Victory ‎from Allah and a near conquest.”‎

Meanwhile, reliable military sources told Al-Onwan 24 on Saturday ‎that the new reinforcements included advanced combat units ‎equipped with sophisticated ground and aerial surveillance devices, as ‎well as modern electronic jamming systems described as the latest of ‎their kind in the current course of the fighting.‎

According to the sources, supplying the Blue Nile front with advanced ‎surveillance and jamming equipment is primarily intended to disrupt ‎the communications capabilities of the rebel Rapid Support Forces ‎militia and neutralise its drone capabilities. The measures are also ‎aimed at securing the region’s borders and vital strategic areas against ‎any infiltration or security breaches.‎
