Sudan Strongly Responses to (False) UN Allegations

Sudan’s Permanent Representative to Geneva, Ambassador Hassan Hamid, exercised his right to respond to the false allegations contained in the High Commissioner for Human Rights’ statement, specifically his reference to the Sudanese Armed Forces and allegations of arbitrary executions following the liberation of Khartoum.

The Ambassador declared his rejection of these accusations, based on anonymous sources and information obtained from activists and entities loyal to the militia.

He added, “We expected the High Commissioner to focus on the mass executions of thousands of civilians on a wider scale and the liquidation of hundreds, indeed the genocide witnessed by everyone.”
