Sudan Produces About 38 Tons of Gold in 6 Months in 2025

The General Manager of the Mineral Resources Company, Mohamed Tahir Omar, has revealed that Sudan’s gold production in the first half of 2025 amounted to approximately 37,235 tons.
In a statement on the sidelines of the Fourth International Mining Forum in Cairo, Mohamed Tahir said that revenues for the first half amounted to approximately $400 million, indicating that the states with the highest gold production are the River Nile, Northern, and Red Sea states.
He pointed out that the company recently opened offices in South Kordofan State, bringing the number of producing states to seven.
