Military Police Deployed in Khartoum to Curb Violations by Supporting Forces and Security Personnel

The Sudanese Ministry of Interior announced the recovery of 15,728 vehicles from streets across the states, urging citizens to visit collection points to reclaim their vehicles in accordance with established procedures.

According to the meeting of the Committee for Enhancing Security and Enforcing State Authority held on Saturday, July 25, the ministry urged citizens who had lost their vehicles to contact the committee to retrieve them free of charge through the relevant prosecution offices and traffic directorate in Khartoum State and localities.

Police spokesperson and Media Committee Chairman Brig. Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Tom said, citing the Chairman of the Committee for Evacuating Khartoum State of Military Formations, Lt. Gen. Abdelkhair Abdullah Nasser, that coordination between joint forces and other regular forces had been strengthened to restrict the movement of military personnel within Khartoum State. He added that military police units had been deployed at entrances, crossings and bridges to address violations committed by members of military formations.
