SPLM-N (Agar): We do not recruit South Sudanese.

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), led by Malik Agar, stated that the circulating information about the movement recruiting South Sudanese citizens in training camps on the border between the two countries, to be deployed in the war, is “fake news.”

The movement added, in a statement, that the primary objectives of spreading these rumors are to attempt to incite Sudanese and South Sudanese public opinion and fuel a political and social crisis that will widen the gap between Sudan and South Sudan.
