Ambassador Salah Halima, Vice President of the Egyptian Council for African Affairs, said that the visit of General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), relates to Egyptian-Sudanese relations, which have reached advanced stages in all aspects, including security, politics, economics, education, and health.
Halima added, in a phone call to Extra News Channel, that the infrastructure between Egypt and Sudan has reached an advanced stage, but as a result of the recent military operations, further support and reform are needed.
He continued, there is a major understanding to increase the volume of Egyptian investments in the economic sector, especially with regard to food and water security, and the need to respect the rules of international law related to water security and reject unilateral actions.
He pointed out that there is an emphasis on the integrity of Sudan and its government, the rejection of any parallel government, and the affirmation of the unity of Egypt and Sudan.
