SAF Launches Swift Operations in the Heart of Khartoum

Only a few meters separate the Armored Corps from the General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) following the army’s swift operations launched Sunday morning, which are still ongoing at the time of writing.

The army continued its expansion into central Khartoum and the Khartoum Commercial Center. Armored forces were able to regain control of the Sharwani public transport station in Khartoum.

Armored Corps forces also took control of the Nilein Towers and Al-Musallamiya Bridge in downtown Khartoum.

The army forces advancing from southern Khartoum now control the towers and Al-Musallamiya Bridge, bringing them within a few meters of engaging with the army forces advancing from the General Command.
