The Sudanese Ministry of Defense has completed a deal to own and purchase fighter jets under the name of air sovereignty.

Military sources told Al-Arabiya that Sudanese Defense Minister Yassin Ibrahim has completed the procedures for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) to possess modern aircraft and a strategic air defense system.

The sources reported that the army will receive the first squadron of fighter jets in early March and the delivery will be completed before the beginning of December.

Al-Arabiya sources pointed out that the aircraft deal was made with a friendly country that has strategic relations and joint economic and military agreements with Sudan.
