Qatar announces its rejection of Sudan destabilization

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Youssef, delivered a message to State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the SQatar, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, from President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, to the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, regarding relations between the two countries.
Minister of Foreign Affairs arrived in the State of Qatar on a two-day visit.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to boost them further, and reviewed the most prominent issues of joint interest and tightening coordination around them.
The minister thanked the government and people of Qatar for the support they have continued to provide to Sudan, mainly during its current crisis. He touched on the victories achieved by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) over the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia during the current period, and the militia’s desperate attempts to respond to those victories by targeting defenseless citizens, power stations, hospitals and service centers.
For his part, Qatari nMinister of State for Foreign Affairs affirmed his country’s firm and steadfast position in supporting Sudan’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and its rejection of any attempts to interfere in its internal affairs and destabilize it.
