Police Director General Dismissed, New One Appointed in Sudan

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on Wednesday issued a decree appointing General (Police) Amir Abdel-Monem Fadl as Director General of the Police Forces.

He also issued a decree appointing Lt. Gen. (Police) Al-Tahir Mohamed Al-Balloula as Deputy Director General and Inspector General of the Police Forces.

TSC President gave directives to the Ministry of Interior and the concerned bodies to implement the decree.

It is to be recalled that TSC President had issued earlier a decree relieving General (Police) Khalid Hassan Mohi-Eddin from his position as Director General of the Police Forces, along with his deputy, Lt. Gen. (Police) Mohamed Ibrahim Awadallah.
