North Kordofan’s top prosecutor assassinated by unknown gunmen
Unknown gunmen assassinated North Kordofan’s top prosecutor, Al-Tijani Adam Subi, on Saturday night.
Local sources told Sudan Tribune that “unknown gunmen stormed the home of the top prosecutor, Al-Tijani Adam Sabi, in Al-Mudireyya neighborhood of Al-Obeid city, and shot him dead.”
They reported that police cordoned off the scene before conveying the victim’s body to Al-Daman Hospital for an autopsy.
Sudan’s Public Prosecution mourned the deceased, saying in a statement, that Al-Tijani Adam Sabi “was assassinated by treacherous and cowardly hands after a career full of giving. He was an example of integrity and dedication, and contributed to establishing the values of justice and the preservation of rights.”
