The Sudan Liberation Army Movement (SLAM) has denied rumors that 7,000 of its fighters, along with 2,000 combat vehicles, have joined the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
The movement’s spokesman, Al-Sadiq Ali al-Nur, said in a statement, that the speaker in the video circulating on social media is “unknown” and not an SLAM member. He clarified that the speaker is affiliated with the RSF militia, calling on the media outlets to investigate the facts by contacting the movement’s official platforms.
