Militia artillery commander killed in El-Fashir

A big number of the most prominent commanders of the outlaw Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia were killed in the battles of yesterday, and today, in the city of El-Fashir, where the armed and joint forces seized a great number of combat vehicles belonging to the rebels.

The sources reported that among the militia dead in today’s battle were Lieutenant Colonel Adam Al-Doud Yagoub (Sheibani), the commander of the Neyala mobilization, the field commander Bashir Mohamed Zain Hasab Al-Nabi, Idris Hargi, the signal officer, and Abdullah Yagoub, the commander of the 101st Battalion, and Colonel Abdul-Daem Rajab (Korina) and Captain Ahmed Mohamed Mirghani, the commander of the artillery.

The command of the Sixth Infantry Division in El-Fashir affirmed that all forces in the city are advancing steadily and achieving great victories over the insurgent Rapid Support Forces Militia
It underlined, in a press release, that the city’s streets were filled with the corpses of the rebels, revealing the seizure of a large number of combat vehicles.

For its part, the joint force reported that it has been leading a fierce battle since 5 am until now on all fronts, adding that the forces are advancing steadily in repelling the enemy from the Janjaweed militia, and that they have managed to inflict heavy losses on the militia in lives and equipment, and added, “Stay tuned for our good news with details.” Military sources indicated that the number of militia dead reached 278, most of them from the mobilized that came from South Darfur.
