Less than a day after its announcement, differences hit (Sumoud)

Severe disagreements hit the corridors of the Journalists Syndicate affiliated with the Forces of Freedom and Changen (FFC), causing the head of the Syndicate, Abdel-Moneim Abu Idris, to submit his resignation, citing health reasons.
At the same time, a number of resistance committees in the Blue Nile and Khartoum accused the (Sumoud) Alliance of stealing its tongue, impersonating its name, and claiming to have joined the alliance, announcing their refusal to join the Sumoud Alliance.
Sources reported that Abu Idris protested joining (Sumoud) without consulting him or the approval of the Executive Office.
The Executive Office of the Syndicate had decided before joining Sumoud to review his joining (Tagadum).
The sources reported that Abu Idris submitted his resignation to the Executive Office, which decided to discuss it in a meeting on February 19, but parties within the Executive Office leaked the resignation to the public, forcing Abu Idris later to acknowledge it.
He said in a brief post on Facebook: “Due to the many questions from colleagues and friends about the leak of one of the agendas of the Syndicate Council meeting that will be held, Allah willing, on the evening of February 19, I am forced to clarify that my resignation is for health reasons.”
