In Battle (216), El-Fashir holds steadfast, and SAF crushes RSF special battalions

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) inflicted a crushing vanquishment on the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) special battalions, called the Strategic Battalions, which attacked El-Fashir at dawn on Sunday.

The Armed Forces, with the support of the joint force of the armed struggle movements, the popular resistance, and the mobilized personnel, inflicted a crushing defeat on the militia in the Battle 216, which is being waged in El-Fashir against the Rapid Support Forces.

The militia’s Strategic Battalion is considered a highly trained and highly equipped force. It is equipped with armored combat vehicles and combat vehicles equipped with dual cannons.

They wear special black uniforms that distinguish them from the rest of the militia forces.

The army’s drones participated effectively in the battle. While the militia attempted to use thick smoke as cover to protect its elements from the drones, their plan failed, and the drones were able to hunt them down with great efficiency.

The joint forces said, in a statement, received by (Sudanese Echoes) that the militia began intensive nighttime artillery shelling of residential neighborhoods and displacement camps.

The statement explained that in the early hours of Sunday morning, the rebel militia, with what it called the strategic battalion, attempted to storm the city from the eastern and northeastern hub.

The armed forces succeeded in inflicting a crushing vanquishment on the militia thanks to meticulous military planning, including executing a well-crafted ambush.

The statement revealed that the battle resulted in the destruction of six United Arab Emirates (UAE)-made Sarser armored vehicles with their full crews, in addition to the destruction of 10 combat vehicles with their entire personnel. Dozens of militia members were killed and dispersed, and the fugitives were pursued to the outskirts of the city.

The statement added that this battle confirmed that victory is not achieved through wishful thinking or false propaganda, but rather through courage and belief in a just cause.

It noted that El-Fashir would remain steadfast, like Stalingrad, impervious to ambushers and invaders.

The joint force sent a message to the RSF militia and its allies that El-Fashir will not fall, and that our people will not kneel, affirming their commitment to defending the land and honor until full victory is achieved.
