Dagalo Escapes Death, Several RSF Commanders Killed in Drone Strike

Sudanese Echoes obtained new information regarding violent raids carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) last Thursday and Friday against Rapid Support Forces (RSF) positions inside Nyala.

The airstrikes, carried out by warplanes and drones, targeted militia training camps at Nyala University, weapons depots, cargo planes, and drones at Nyala Airport.

The airstrikes killed dozens of foreign mercenaries responsible for operating the drones.

A large number of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) officers were also killed inside Nyala, who were staying at the Social Security Hotel.

Meanwhile, identical sources revealed that the militia’s second-in-command, Abdel-Rahim Dagalo, escaped death after a warplane targeted his location in Nyala, where he was attending a memorial service for the late Ahmed Barakatallah, held in the Rahman neighborhood. The attack claimed the lives of many of the militia’s military and civilian leaderships. Meanwhile, the militia rushed to move the remaining weapons and ammunition from inside Nyala to the city of Kass after SAF intensified its airstrikes and raids on Nyala.

Sources confirmed that the militia moved the weapons and ammunition into Al-Junaid Company buildings in Kass.

Residents of the area expressed their fears of the consequences of transporting the militia’s equipment to the city, which would be targeted by the army.
