Horrific details about slaughtering young men in Zamzam and abducting dozens of girls to unknown sites

The Higher Administration of the Zamzam Camp for displaced persons (IDPs) in El-Fashir has stated that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, allied with the so-called “neutral forces,” committed one of the most heinous crimes in modern Sudanese history; a horrific massacre in the camp, leaving behind a tragic humanitarian scene beyond description.

The camp’s administration added that the militias stormed the camp by force in vehicles armed with the latest weapons, drones, and long-range artillery, amid shameful international silence.

The Higher Administration of the ID Zamzam Camp indicated that the camp’s residents, including women, children, the elderly, and humanitarian organization staff, were subjected to the most horrific forms of violations, including mass killing, public rape in front of the victims’ families, systematic kidnapping, and the complete burning of fragile homes without any discrimination or mercy.

The camp’s administration unveiled that initial estimates indicate that more than 500 people have been killed and wounded, in addition to hundreds of abductees and prisoners. Hundreds of children remain missing in dire circumstances, and dozens of women are forcibly disappeared amid crimes that continue to be perpetrated in secret.

The administration noted that confirmed information had been received about militias intercepting a number of people fleeing toward the city of Tawila, resulting in the cold-blooded execution of 15 of them on the ground. More than 25 girls were taken to an unknown place, amid growing fears that they might be subjected to grave violations.

The Higher Administration of the IDP Zamzam Camp stated that some militia elements slaughtered some young men who refused to leave their families inside the camp, in a brutal manner reminiscent of scenes of genocide.
These acts were also documented on camera in an attempt to spread fear and consolidate control through psychological terror.
