Government: UAE involved in killing Sudanese and trying to frame Sudan

Minister of Culture and Information and government spokesman Khalid Ali Al-Aiser has said that the Abu Dhabi government has consistently denied its involvement in the killing of the Sudanese people, despite the Sudanese government having sufficient evidence, supported by US government decisions imposing sanctions on companies hosted by the Abu Dhabi government and providing cover for the transfer of weapons and supplies to the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, which commits genocide and crimes against humanity.

Al-Aiser added, “Recently, the Abu Dhabi government has been trying to evade its responsibility by accusing the Sudanese government of being behind a weapons shipment allegedly belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), in an attempt to cover up its role in supporting the terrorist crimes committed by the Janjaweed militia against the Sudanese people.”

The Minister of Information affirmed that the Sudanese government pays no attention to these fabricated allegations and is certain that the Abu Dhabi government is using its official and private media outlets to obstruct Sudan’s complaint to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The government is aware that this complaint is based on compelling evidence, including the movement of Abu Dhabi-owned aircraft transporting weapons, equipment, and strategic drones in support of the criminal RSF militia.

He continued, “Sudan’s cause is just, and it is continuing its efforts to protect the rights of its people. Attempts at deception will not obscure the truth about the crimes for which the Abu Dhabi government bears responsibility, nor will they deter Sudan from continuing its legal and moral pursuit of all those who committed crimes against the Sudanese people and contributed to the vandalization of its infrastructure and vital facilities.”
