Expected talks between Al-Burhan and Al-Sisi in Cairo

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, is leave for Cairo next Monday, at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi.
The situation in Sudan and the latest developments in the war waged against the state by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia are expected to be discussed.
Sources told (Al-Sudani) that the reconstruction of Sudan will also be addressed, to which the Egyptian state has pledged to contribute significantly, particularly in the maintenance and rehabilitation of bridges, overpasses, and power plants.
Egypt is considered one of Sudan’s few neighbors that consistently affirms Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It has provided extensive emergency assistance during the humanitarian crisis, and its territory hosts millions of Sudanese.
Sources added that President Al-Burhan will head to the inauguration of the new Sudanese embassy in Cairo’s Fifth Settlement District, following his meeting with President Al-Sisi. The embassy three-building complex will accommodate the needs of the large Sudanese community in Egypt.
