Egyptian Foreign Minister arrives in Sudan, holds talks with his Sudanese counterpart
Foreign Minister Ali Youssef held an official meeting on Tuesday morning with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati, who arrived in Sudan on a one-day official visit.
The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to thr sisterly Egypt for its solid support for Sudan as it wages a war of national dignity against the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, its mercenaries and its regional supporters.
For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s position in support of Sudan’s safety, sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in its internal affairs.
He stressed that the Egyptian people share the ordeal of the brotherly Sudanese people and will support them until they overcome it peacefully.
The two sides discussed ways to overcome the impediments facing Sudanese residing in Egypt temporarily due to the war, especially in the migration and educational aspects, and agreed to develop practical and effective solutions for these issues in light of the eternal relations between the two brotherly peoples.
