Details of Meeting Between TSC President and Egypt’s Intelligence Chief

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Saturday with the Head of Egypt’s General Intelligence Service and Minister, Maj. Gen. Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, in the presence of the Director of Sudan’s General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.

Maj. Gen. Rashad conveyed the greetings of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, along with his wishes for lasting peace, security, and stability for the Sudanese people.

The meeting reviewed the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to support and further develop them.

The talks further reviewed ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and protect the security of the Red Sea and the entire region.

The talks further addressed arrangements related to the humanitarian situation in Sudan, with a view to facilitating relief operations and ensuring the safe delivery of assistance to those in need.
