Destruction of Hemedti’s Residence in Nyala

The Sudanese Armed Forces’ air force carried out a special, precision ‎military operation in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State, targeting ‎residences and gatherings of senior Rapid Support Forces (RSF) leaders, ‎based on precise intelligence.‎

Field sources, according to journalist Muzamil Abu Al-Qasim, who is ‎close to the army leadership, said the concentrated airstrikes ‎succeeded in destroying the residence of RSF commander Mohamed ‎Hamdan Dagalo, known as “Hemedti,” in the city, as well as the homes ‎of several senior military commanders in the group. The targeted ‎residences included those of Major General (Rebel) Hassan Mahjoub, ‎Major General (Rebel) Othman Operations, and Major General (Khala) ‎Abdullah Goroosh.‎

Reports from the scene confirmed that the bombing of the RSF ‎commander’s residence resulted in the death of one of his most ‎prominent personal bodyguards and the group’s intelligence officer, ‎First Lieutenant Mohamed Adam, known as “Tanks.” He is Hemedti’s ‎nephew and is described as his “keeper of secrets.”‎

Meanwhile, intelligence and field authorities are conducting extensive ‎inquiries to establish the fate of the other targeted commanders, ‎foremost among them Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Othman ‎Operations, Hassan Mahjoub, and Abdullah Goroosh, who were ‎present at the targeted locations shortly before the airstrikes.‎
