Death Sentence for Woman Photographes Military and Service Sites in Sudan

The Karari General Criminal Court issued a death sentence by hanging (as discretionary punishment) against the defendant (G. D. B. H.) after convicting her in Criminal Case No. 1746/2024 for violating Articles (26/50/51/A/186) of the Sudanese Criminal Code of 1991, amended in 2020, for collaborating with rebel forces to incite war against the state, undermining the constitutional system, and committing crimes against humanity.
The defendant was photographing armed forces positions and service sites and sending them to rebel forces.
The sentence was issued in the presence of the defense attorney.
The prosecution was represented before the court by Third Deputy Prosecutor Abdel-Aziz Hamza Al-Siddig.
