Customs Forces thwart smuggling of (142) Kgs of gold in River Nile State

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Gebreil Ibrahim and the Wali (governor) of River Nile State Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid stood on a large gold smuggling seizure that was thwarted by the customs forces through the Anti-Smuggling Unit in River Nile State.
The Minister praised the customs forces for achieving this great achievement as they thwarted an attempt to smuggle 312 pieces of gold weighing about 142 kilograms, in addition to one Kalashnikov rifle.
