Chief of the All Hamar Tribes Survives Assassination Attempt
The headquarters of the Chief of the All Hamar tribes, Prince Abdel-Gadir Mon’em Mansour, in Al-Nuhud, West Kordofan, was attacked by a drone launched by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, killing a woman and injuring others.
The Hamar Emergency Chamber, in an official statement, accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of bombing the Hamar Chiefdom (leadership) House, noting that the aim of the attack was to force the Chief to leave Al-Nuhud for Nyala, capital of South Darfur.
The Emergency Chamber stated that the militia continues to exert pressure on the Chief, seeking to forcibly remove him from his traditional sphere of influence in an attempt to intimidate the Hamar tribes and weaken their local authority.
