Askori discloses new details about John Garang assassination

Politician, thinker, and former leader of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Ali Khalifa Askori, has revealed new details about the assassination of the leader and godfather of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Dr. Garang de Mabior.

In an interview with Sudanese Echoes (published in the Internal pages), Askori said that Garang was killed by a conspiracy by global imperialism, which does not want capable African leaderships in Africa.

Askori explained that Garang was killed when the Sudanese people supported him in Khartoum, indicating that the late Garang was a thinker, not a military commander.
