Armed Forces denounce sanctions against Al-Burhan and reject any measure that affects the army Cmmanders

General Command of the Armed Forces

Statement

The Sudanese Armed Forces condemn the unjust decision issued today by the US Treasury Department to impose sanctions against the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the leader of the Sudanese nation and the commander of the National Dignity War, which our forces and people are waging against the terrorist mercenaries and Al-Daglo militia. We also condemn the reference to any measures that could affect any of the leaders of the Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces affirm that these unjust measures will not deter them from carrying out their legal and constitutional duty of defending the country and its people and securing the safety of its lands against mercenaries, agents and their supporters at home and abroad. We are driven by firm determination, resolve and national will that will not weaken, and are reinforced by the unlimited support of our people until the elimination of the last rebel, mercenary and agent.
