Al-Hilu staggers… SAF on Kauda Outskirts After the Fall of Four Camps

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Saturday a significant new advance on the South Kordofan front, having taken full control of four camps belonging to Abdel-Aziz Al-Hilu’s forces, which are allied with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

Military sources confirmed that the forces are steadily advancing toward Al-Hilu’s key stronghold in Kauda, with the distance now only 40 kilometers away.

This is a significant development on the ground, reflecting the superiority of the army and its allied factions on the ground.

The recent operations involved the Joint Forces and the Popular Resistance, along with the supporting forces, which effectively contributed to liberating the camps and clearing them of rebel remnants.

Reports indicated that these forces are operating in high field harmony, and that popular and community support has contributed to accelerating progress and achieving successive victories.

The Armed Forces confirmed that the next goal has become clear: the liberation of Kauda, which has long been a major staging point for Al-Hilu’s forces.
