Al-Burhan from Asmara: We will never forget Eritrea’s historical positions and support for us in our ordeal

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki held a session of talks today, Tuesday, at the presidential palace in the Eritrean capital, Asmara, which addressed the progress of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al-Burhan expressed his deep appreciation for the Eritrean government’s supportive positions for Sudan. “Its hosting of Sudanese refugees confirms the depth and strength of bilateral relations”, he said.

TSC President said, in press statements in the Eritrean capital, Asmara, “We thank Eritrea, government and people, for these noble and great positions, which confirms the preciousness and authenticity of the Eritrean people and their support for their siblings in Sudan, who will not forget those positions.”

Al-Burhan praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his keenness to strengthen and push them forward in all fields for the tidings and benefit of the two countries.
