A new office for Al-Burhan prepared outside Portsudan

The Office of President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has completed the preparation of an office for TSC President in the Karari Locality of Khartoum State, from which he is expected to carry out his duties.

According to a private source who spoke to SUNA, Al-Burhan will share duties between Omdurman and Portsudan.

He will oversee military operations, supply of the armed forces, conduct military air traffic, hold meetings with military commanders, and provide support to the Khartoum State government from Omdurman. Al-Burhan will also receive international guests, including envoys, UN officials, and others, in addition to overseeing special and security matters from Portsudan.

Al-Burhan’s move to Omdurman coincides with the significant progress made by the armed forces in clearing Khartoum State of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) elements and mercenaries.
